Vertex Labs: Engineering Floor & Focus Pods

Overview

We grouped desks into neighbourhoods with sightlines to shared team walls, then ringed the floor with phone booths and two-person pods for heads-down coding and remote calls. Carpet tile patterns subtly signal zones without hard partitions.

Meeting rooms received upgraded AV paths and acoustic treatments; the pantry uses durable surfaces and banquette seating for quick stand-ups. Lighting is layered with circadian-friendly defaults and manual overrides for late releases.
