Hudson Lane: Sculptural Kitchen & Pantry

Overview

We treated the kitchen as the heart of the home: a long island anchors prep and casual dining, while tall housings conceal ovens, refrigeration, and a dedicated coffee niche. Interior drawers and pull-outs were mapped to the client’s actual grocery habits to avoid dead storage.

Stone selection balanced durability with a soft vein pattern; brass accents were lacquered for low maintenance. Installation was sequenced to protect existing floors, with dust control and daily walkthroughs so the family could stay in the house during the build.
